Our Fully Trained palliative and end of life care Team supports people living with terminal illness to make decisions about treatment, and plan for the end of life. Our aim is to support people to make informed decisions, address palliative needs and ensure coordinated care and carers are supported, so that they stay in the place and in the way they have chosen.

EMI and Dementia
We Deliver care and support to residents who have mental health difficulties or frailties that include. Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. At Goldenhill environment will be considered based on the individuals assessed needs. Goldenhill Nursing Home is committed to provide the best possible EMI/dementia care to those who need it. Dementia can affect people in different ways – from confusion and isolation to frustration and anger. As well as helping with daily tasks such as getting out of bed, washing and eating, we also encourage residents to partake in activities such as gardening, drawing and creating memory boxes.
